The Adelie Penguin (pygoscelis adeliae) is a species of penguin that inhabits the Antartica Penninsula, the Sheathland islands, and other circumpolar islands.
The Adelie Penguin is white on the belly and underside of the flippers and black on the back, head, front of the flippers. It had a short, stubby beak. It was about 28 inches tall. They create nests made out of rocks.
The adelie penguin mainly eats fish and crustaceans.
