  • Out of the frogs that are dangerous to humans, the Cream-backed poison frog is the least toxic. However it still contains about 120 micrograms of poison, enough to make a human critically ill. The cream-backed poison frog has claimed more lives than any other poison-dart frog, for the simple reason that it lacks bright coloration and due to its generally inquisitive nature it often comes into contact with humans who often are tempted to handle the frog.
