Spiclypeus is a extinct Genus of chasmosaurine Dinosaur that was closely related to Triceratops but in older rocks


Spiclypeus was first found in 2005. Bill DF. Ship finds a thighbone in the Judith formation. In 2007, small and his team tried to secure the remaining bones. It did not get described until 2016 in May.


Spiclypeus seemed to be more related to Pentaceratops and Kosmoceratops that the larger Triceratops and Torosaurus.
